It’s Game 7. Can the Indiana Pacers stun the Miami Heat, or will Lebron James and Co. bounce back from Game 6 and continue their quest for back-to-back titles?
We asked some of the Redskins players to weigh in on the NBA Eastern Conference Finals as they were leaving practice today, 34 voted for the Heat and 17 voted for the Pacers.
Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss, a Miami native, says tonight he might be watching the game with a couple of teammates at his place. He thinks the Heat will win tonight but it’s going to take more than a Lebron James show.
“I think that everyone is going to have to come with it tonight, it can’t just be one guys show, you have to play team basketball and try to pull it out,” Moss said.
The biggest Pacers fan by far on the team is linebacker Ryan Kerrigan, who even wore his Purdue shirt to remind everyone his home-state’s basketball team.
Kerrigan doesn’t have cable yet, so he will be out of the house tonight watching the game. He’s expecting a big game from Paul George, who has been a force throughout the series.
